Project manager

Location: Larger Rotterdam, Netherlands

• Co-operating in new construction, renovation and maintenance projects in mechanical engineering
• Execution of basic engineering
• Drawing up of specifications for tender and delegation of projects
• Preparation of project reports and financial and technical analyses
• Providing day-to-day management of the members of the project teams
• Realisation of financial and non-financial project objectives
• Delivers a contribution to product development
• Issues technical advice
• Preparation and/or assessment of technical quality of quotations and designs and drawings
• Supervising the observance and implementation as well as personally observing the regulations and procedures in the field of internal and external QA/VGWM systems

• Higher Vocational/Higher Technical Education or Academic Degree (technology and business)
• At least eight or more years of proven relevant work experience
• Wide technical expertise
• Broad experience in project-based working
• Experience with budget and planning responsibility
• Excellent spoken and written language skills
• Experience as a people manager
• Feel for organisational relationships
